My depression/anxiety issues started about junior year in high school, 2000!. It continued through college and I eventually went to therapy for 3 quarters while attending college(2004 - 2005) and started taking med's during therapy and continued for a total of one year!. I did feel or see a idfference on the med's and it was talking with my mom and boyfriend/now husband taht really got me through it!.

I would have these anxiety attacks that would just hit and I couldn't stop crying, shaking shuddering and feeling doomed!. I just wanted to rock back and forth!. I felt alone and lost, so completely lost!. Things got better after therapy, but then summer (2005) would role around and I'd do worse, yet again!. Finally 2 years after therapy and 7 years after depressive problems, ups and downs, I haven't had a anxiety attack for ~21 months, but I still had boughts of depression!. My husband made me make a decision, what did I need to do to get feeling better!.(Dec 2007)

So with his support, we up and moved 1 month after he told me to do what was best for me!. I'm back home closer to family and I am do terrific!. It's been 4 months and my mom imediatly noticed a difference when she talked to me only 2 weeks after moving!.

Life's grand, the financial, personal and relationship problems don't cause anxiety or depression anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been dealing with it since I was about 12 yrs!. old!. I'm turning 28 this year and after 2 kids and major stressors continuing to pop up everyday!.!.!.it has been a roller coaster ride!. I've been on Lexapro, Xanax, Ativan, Wellbutrin, Zoloft and now I am on Effexor!. I have taken Effexor for almost4 years now and I also carry Ativan in case I have a mild episode!.!.!.but I also deal with anxiety, especially doesn't help with my depression!. I also go to counseling which helps TREMENDOUSLY!!! It's good to have a psychiatrist and a psychologist so one can monitor your medication and the other can talk with you more intensely!. I still deal with it to this day, it's a daily struggle, especially during PMS time!.!.!.I get SUPER emotional, and the more stressors that are happening in my life at one time, the worse it is and harder it gets!. I used to come up with excuses why I felt this way, but after so long!.!.I just realized that something is just chemically wrong with me, and I am willing to fight it for life if I have to!.

i'm still suffering from it, i'm still struggling to cope with it, but i'm not as bad as i was!. the turning point was when my parents took me to get help!. having someone that i could talk to about how i felt, and being helped to cope with my thoughts, really did help me!.
i just hope that i continue to get better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i lost weight and used presc!. meds to clear up my acne!. Doing that gave me more confidence, in turn making me want to talk to more people!. Talking to more people helped me to accept myself, and accepting myself made me stop being so depressed!. I came out of depression after 7 years of it!. It was caused by my social anxiety!. I still have my bouts, but I've been on zoloft(25mg/day) for 5 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
