do you think it's a real problem that needs seriously heavy duty drugs like ritalin!? or is it just a convinient way for parents to find absolution by placeing responsibility on a 'desease' insted of trying to figure out why the kid is behaving the way he is!? It's way overdiagnosed!. There are real cases, but at this point every normal hyper behavior in a kid gets the diagnosis!. It's to sell drugs of course!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes it is my son has it he has problem compeleting tasks!.my son don,t take anything however sometimes i think he needs too!.he ,don,t deal with stress of life to well!.he is easyly upset!. i found that sweet makes him hyper i tell him at 17 not to eat to much sweets it bad for him!.i been dealing with my son and his condidtion a long time it can be disabling!.yes it can be a real problem the child can get out of control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I unfortunately do NOT believe that this is a disease---I don't even think it's any type of disorder either---or maybe the disorder of the teachers who do not want to deal with active and sometimes unruly children any longer!.!.!.!.!.because it's been around at my time(I am 56), an no one was given medication---American society always wants a quick fix for everything---and it doesn't work that way!. its real, i have it!. this past year i went back on medication after stopping for a year, and my grades changed from F's to A's, no exaggeration!.

Studies show it is real disorder, with medication that will effectively treat it!. Ritalin is not heavy duty by any means!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
