My God , Yes!! Clonazepam is a serious medication you have to go off gradualy! I only take 1mg and I tried stopping "cold turkey"!.!.!. the following days I got irritable, enraged!.!.!.I felt like I was getting crazy and was going to end up hospitalised!! Thankfully my pharmacian told me of the withdrawl side effects and I realised that I was going through those (and not crazy!!LOL) I am still taking my 1mg at night but now I know never to stop medication abruptly!!! If you must stop clonazepam, you need to gradually reduce it!. Your psychiatrist should be monitoring and suppervising your clonazepam reduction!. ( If I remember corectly, you have to go down by taking only 1/8 off per week!.!.!.!?!?!?!.) Double check with your doctors/or a phamacist/or even a intervention-crisis support line!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
