I dont know if its like depression and they kill themselves!. But there are all sorts of animals that do very strange things like make long journeys to the edges of cliffs and jump or mate once then die!. I cant think of the animals right now but I know that goats, turtles and fish do super strange things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hi,
I don't think we really know!. It's hard to believe they just kill themselves, but if an animal is depressed because someone it was close to died, and the animal refuses food or refuses to look after itself and it dies!.!.!. It's not quite suicide, as their death isn't really intentional!. Ahh, I don't know, read my source okay!. Hope it helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some animals take themslevs out fo the herd when they get old / lame and fend for themselves to become less of a burden to the group!. This could be seen as a sort of suicide, but this is instinctive rather than processed thought!.
Lemmings, as you say, is a complete myth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt it!. They're minds probably aren't developed enough to think that if they are depressed, a way to get out of it is killing themselves!.
