Pain is an impulse of energy!. Emotional pain, and physical pain arent the same!. One is visible and the other isnt!. When a person cuts themself its a transformation of this energy from an intangible form to something you can see!. When you can see the pain you can fix the pain!. You cant see heartache or anger!. Depression is an invisible pain so cut yourself and bandage that wound!. Women do this more because they are more emotional than men!. They need communication and confidence!. Without these things they must self medicate themselves!. To solve it you must see it and to see it you must change its form!. That is why women self harm more than men!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Depends on what you call self-harm!. Some guys who go looking for fights are looking to get hurt!. Some guys who drive crazy wreckless are looking to get hurt!. Men kill themselves in much bigger numbers!. Then there's the reporting factor - guys are much less apt to report or be reported as having eating disorders or to own up to cutting and the 'traditional' self-harm behaviors!. In general, the answer you are looking for is that women tend to turn their pain in while men are more apt to turn it out!. thats just like saying why are men more likley to actually be succelsful in killing them selves than women!.
men dont think about self harming they just go for the main thing and kill themselves whereas women think over what would happen and i dont know if all women are like me but im to much of a coward to killmyself so i self harm instead to get out my pain that way

While both men and women have been known to self harm, women for whatever reason are more likely to be susceptible to having depression!. Whether it's hormonal or genetic, the female population just suffers more, hence the higher numbers of female self injurers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's hormonal!. not only women are more prone to depression than men are but also depressed women tend to commit suicide(self harm) while depressed men tend to commit murder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
