What should I feel when I think I might be schizophrenic?!

Question: What should I feel when I think I might be schizophrenic!?
I've never confronted anyone with this before but now I'm getting painfully scared!. I'm constantly thinking to myself and my thoughts keep me awake at night to where I can almost never get any sleep!. Then last week I saw ghost trails for about 2 mins before closing my eyes an taking a few deep breaths then went away!. Then my mother brought up "Cibil" about a girl that was schizophrenic!.!. I started to panic and cry about the whole thought for a couple of hours before getting into bed!. But as again my mind went off almost talking for its self about useless things i didn't even understand i thought it was normal and every teenager has these random thoughts going through their head!.!. untill it becomes out of my reach and i don't understand anything my minds thinking I just need some help before i get serious about this and go to a doctor!. I don't want anyone to see this for getting attention before i confront anyone!. Also i'm a very happy person but suddenly i become stressed and suicidalWww@Answer-Health@Com

There could be several reasons for seeing things!. I guess that SZ could be one of them!. Stress and not sleeping well could also play with your mind!. My advice would be to try and get a good nights rest and not to worry yourself!. If after you get a good nights rest you have more hallucinations then talk it over with your parents and see a doctor!. I don't think anyone will think your saying that for attention!. I have heard voices for 4 1/2 years and it's not to get people attention!. I am not SZ but there are other reasons that people have these hallucinations!. Mine are due to what my doctors think is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ( PTSD)!. Were still trying to get me the proper DX!. So get a good night sleep and don't worry!.

Take care and don't give up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Schizophrenia can cause a person to see or hear things that might seem real, but it usually only occurs at a very young age!.

For example, if you hear a voice, it would be as audible to you as if I were listening to the radio!. Sure, we all have weird thoughts every now and then, but if you are actually seeing and hearing things that are only visual and audible to you, then you have a problem!. But based on your question, the likelihood of you having schizophrenia is minimal to nil!.

However, depression can cause a person to have unpleasant and disturbing thoughts!. I know, because I used to suffer from clinical depression!. I used to have horrible and unbelievable thoughts, usually ones that envisioned my own death or the deaths of others!. When the mind is suffering from depression, it can cause a person's thoughts to be disorganized and chaotic!. The fact that you don't get enough sleep can further contribute to your symptoms!.
