Answers:
Schizoaffective Disorder is basically a form of Schizophrenia with features of a mood disorder as well!.

There are two types; Bipolar Type and Depressive Type!.

It can include psychotic symptoms like schizophrenia such as hallucinations (seeing or hearing things are aren't there), delusions (believing things are happening that aren't really happening), and disorganized thinking!. But there is also a depressed mood (like Major Depression) or depressed and manic moods (like Bipolar Disorder)!.

Two very similar disorders are Major Depression with psychotic features and Bipolar Disorder with psychotic features!. But with these type of disorder the psychotic symptoms only occur in combination with the manic or depressive mood!. In Schizoaffective Disorder, the psychosis can occur even if the individual is not having a depressed or manic mood at the time!.

If you do not have depression or mania, you may like to seek another psychiatrist's opinion!. You could have schizophrenia alone!.
