Is it time to increase my Zoloft?!

Question: Is it time to increase my Zoloft!?
I've been on Zoloft for about 6 years now!. After settling down at 75 mg I've stayed there comfortably, until recently!. My anxiety has gone straight through the roof and even waking up in the morning makes me anxious!. Also, I'm beginning to feel depressed again like I haven't felt in ages!. Nearly everything is making me cry and all I want to do is stay at home!.

I know that Zoloft (and all other medication) has the tendency to "poop out" after a while and it isn't as effective as it used to be!. I'm virtually positive that my doc will have me increase the dose, but I'm wondering if any side effects will pop up!. I've had none so far but I'm worried that going from 75mg to 100mg will not work!.

Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The same thing happened to me!. I was on CiLift for a while and then one day, I just felt so depressed and it didn't want to go away!.

I didn't want to tell my husband, because I didn't want to worry him!. That was a big mistake!.

Eventually I went to the doctor ( after many incidances) and he gave me a short course of Espiride to take with my Cilift!. I cried when he gave me the prescription and that was the last time I cried in a long time!.

I'm now back on my normal dose and feel fine!.

I seriously recommend going to your doctor as fast as possible!. Don't waste your time trying to think yourself happy, trust me, that's just not going to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Going from 75 to 100 might not give you any side effects!. Whatever initial side effects you had starting zoloft will probably creep up again when increasing it!. If you didn't have problems going up to 75 you probably not have a problem going to 100!. Only way to know what will happen is to try it and see!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor could increase it or he could give something to take along with the zoloft to help with the anxiety!. Sometimes you need a combination of anti depressant and an anti anxiety medication!. You should definetly contact the dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
