Question: How do you find a psychologist with certain characteristice (i!.e!.: young, streetwise, funny, etc!.)!?
My niece has been seeing a shrink for over a year now!. She hates him!. Her parents keep sending her to shrinks that they love!. All of them a "middle-aged, white and nerdy" according to her!. How do we find someone with whom she clicks better without sending her from shrink to shrink and wasting a lot of money putting with personalities she doesn't click with!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call several of them and schedule a 15 minute interview!. It should be free!. She should be seen by someone who specializes in people her age!. Keep in mind that many people do not like their 'shrink' because they do not want to deal with their problems!.!.!.!.it may not be him that she hates, but what he is telling her!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
All shrinks are crazy, so she has little chance of finding what she is looking for!. She would have more chance of getting someone young, streetwise and funny if she gets a tennis coach instead!. That might do her more good anyway!.
