you are probably feeling depressed and out of control because you are not eating!.your organs including your brain are starving of everything they need to work!.its all swings and roundabouts really when you think about it!.until you eat you wont feel better and because your feeling so low you dont want to eat!.you need to try building yourself up and then you can start tackling the psychological problems!.you wont be judged because a family member has a mental issue!.it is actually a fact that it does run in families!.good look but remember more and more damage is being done in the meantime!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

You acknowledged that you need help - professional help - so just do it!!! Go get help befoe it is too late!. You have to get past the "shrink issues" and do WHATEVER it takes to get yourself better!!!

If you are OUT OF CONTROL the only solution is to get CONTROL back - by being open to doing whatever it takes!!

If the one-on-one counseling scares you then try group meetings, with people who have the same problem as you!. Search the Internet for support groups in your area!.

The hell with your family and friends, this is about your life!. It doesnt matter if you trust your shrink or not but, you need one and you should consider getting checked into one of them medical places for people with dietary issues - like where karen capenter went!.

Go to a spiritual workshop, and enroll in some meditation classes, try tai chi, and activities and workshops that involve healing yourself, and getting rid of the things you don't like in your life e!.g!. Things about yourself, friends you would rather not have, career, home etc!.!.!.!.

Good luck!. And don't be skeptical about the spiritual side to things, it helps!. <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can understand not wanting to trust a professional but ultimately that is what you need, professional help!. If they are a professional they won't be judgmental of you and just remember, you're paying them for their help so you can always fire them if need be!. Get professional help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

See your GP!. Don't fuss over something then not go to see the main dude about it!. If you continue this do you know what will happen!? You will wreck and damage all your vital organs and probably not make it past your 40s in good healthy!. Lovely!.

And if you want to put on weight I suggest brazil nuts!.

may be you have hypothyroidism

In adults, hypothyroidism is associated with the following symptoms:[5][8]

[edit] Early symptoms
Poor muscle tone (muscle hypotonia)
Fatigue
Cold intolerance, increased sensitivity to cold
Depression
Constipation
Muscle cramps and joint pain
Arthritis
Goiter
Thin, brittle fingernails
Thin, brittle hair
Paleness
Dry, itchy skin
Weight gain
Bradycardia (low HR <60 BPM)

[edit] Late symptoms
Slowed speech and a hoarse, breaking voice!. Deepening of the voice can also be noticed!.
Dry puffy skin, especially on the face
Thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows
Abnormal menstrual cycles
Low basal body temperature

To diagnose primary hypothyroidism, many doctors simply measure the amount of Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) being produced by the pituitary gland!. High levels of TSH indicate that the thyroid is not producing sufficient levels of Thyroid hormone (mainly as thyroxine (T4) and smaller amounts of triiodothyronine (fT3))!. However, measuring just TSH fails to diagnose secondary and tertiary forms of hypothyroidism, thus leading to the following suggested blood testing if the TSH is normal and hypothyroidism is still suspected:

free triiodothyronine (fT3)
free levothyroxine (fT4)
total T3
total T4
Additionally, the following measurements may be needed:

24 hour urine free T3 [10]
antithyroid antibodies - for evidence of autoimmune diseases that may be damaging the thyroid gland
serum cholesterol - which may be elevated in hypothyroidism
prolactin - as a widely available test of pituitary function
testing for anemia, including ferritinWww@Answer-Health@Com
