Have lots of love, understanding,patience!!!My mother had this awful disease!.It was very frustrating for her!.We were honest from the onset what was wrong with her!.(caught in early stages) and as time went bye she deteriorated very rapidly ,( mini strokes also) but she tried to keep her mind active as possible!.We talked memories and current events as much as possible with her!.I still took her out to familiar places that would try to jog her memory and give her comfort!.She would call me by my siblings names,after awhile I just responded to what ever she called me!.When they get bad you'll need to get some help(especially if your the primary care taker)!.
Never, ever take any thing they say or do personally !The best way I learned how to deal with my mom was looking at her as a child sometimes!.When it came time for personal hygiene,that was a rough one but at least we were the same sex!.You do what you have to ,after awhile neither of you will think much of it anymore!.If there is anything else I can help you with feel free to contact me!.Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is one of the sadness situation to see someone with this condition!. The other parent or child always seems to be the caretaker!. Get as much help as you can!. There are a lot of agencies out there that will help so you can have some free time!. There are so many different sages, some people mellow out some get mean Just remember it is a condition that effect the brain and they can't help them selves!.
