Question: How do you help an abused person!?
She is abused by her brothers!. They call her retarted and they punch and kick her!. They jammed her head into a wall!. What do I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a sure bet that the other people in the home know of her abuse and do nothing about it!.
Call the Department of Family Children Services!.
Ask them to investigate!. Be sure to get the name of the person you talk to!.
If they give you static, present yourself at your local police department, and tell them that the other department didn't take you seriously!.
They will take you seriously!.
Your report can be kept anonymous!.

Inform her of her strengths, and daily compliments wouldn't go astray!. Advize her to seek help, whether it be kids helpline an anonymous councelling agency or organize an appointment with a councellor face to face!. This is wrong, what her brothers are doing!. talk to someone else in her family who cares and may be able to help, if that is not possible, maybe they can move out
sometimes there are homes where they can move to temporarily until they can find their own apartment , maybe tell a social worker if you know one, call welfare for them for more advice

Well if her parents are responsible then tell them, or if they are just igonoring it, which seems to be the case then call an abused children hotline and they can help alot, but before calling that try to talk to her parents or someone in her family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
