Question: Do you think that 'woman' from Carshalton who may have killed her own kids, has Psychosis!?
the most 'severe' form of post natal depression!.!.!.which isn't very nice (i speak from experience), psychosis for those who don't know is a 'madness' that affects 'mothers' after their childs born!?
BUT, if thats the case, why did she not get it in her previous 2 pregnancies!?
just speculating at the moment i know, but its so sad to think that a simple 'course' of HRT (e!.g!. progesterone) for 2 weeks could've prevented this 'event'

Anyone can develop depression, either post Natal or otherwise at any time in their lives!.
It sounds like this is the case here, and she has slipped through the net, and become very ill!.

Post natal depression seems the most likely explaination to me!. Ironically, unless the law has changed since I studied it, she can't use that as a defence in respect of killing the two that died, only the baby, who last I heard was hanging on in there!. Whatever the cause though it is a huge tragedy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Postpartum depression for woman who experience it or are prone to mood disorders does get worse with subsequent pregnancies!. The Andrea Yates case is an example!. I do not know the details of this particular case from Carshalton!. I do think that there should be better screening to prevent these things from happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I haven't heard that she has been charged yet have you!? So, we should not judge her until we know the outcome!. Problem is when something like this happens we all assume the worst!.
If she is at fault then why has her husband not pressed the panic button!. He has been freed without charge as he wasn't there, but I would like to bet that a large majority of people who heard about this or read about it somewhere pointed the finger at him!. So, let's not say anything until we know all the facts!.
