Question: What was one of your worst experiences under anti-depressants!?
Answers:
Impotence!. Normally I'm a machine!. It took less than a month on Paxil and I was going limp like a dead animal, it could happen right in the middle of the act!. It was a terrible experience, I stopped taking them after it happened a few times!. It took almost 3 full weeks for things to go back to normal!.
EDIT: One note, my doctor explained that each anti-depressant has a different effect on each individual!. I was on a 10mg dose, that is considered half the MINIMUM dose!. I tried another one, can't remember the name and felt absolutely nothing!. Then I researched my symptoms myself and found a drug that seems to be working quite nicely!. Each person is different, do your homework and check into things yourself, that is the safest way to ensure your doctor is recommending the right drugs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ugh, I had this great idea to sell half my furniture and buy new stuff!. It was an attempt to incorporate a new style into my house that seemed incredibly important at the time!. I have no idea why because I don't normally care about that kind of stuff!. I sold things that belonged to my mother and grandmother that I never really liked anyway, but they will never forgive me!. I don't think I would have considered doing that if I weren't on anti-depressants at the time!. Dumb!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have taken "Pamelor" in the late 80's (after my fathers suicide)!.
Prozac in the early 90's
and Lexapro in the late 90's!.
The only bad effect I had was on Pamelor!. I took a tiny sip of champagne while taking the medication and was violently sick for 24 hours (vomiting)!.
Of all of the medications I'd say that Lexapro helped me the most!. I only took it for a month or so and got the effect I needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A total reverse reaction to Prozac!.
I got on it for MDD and it increased my suicidal thoughts, made me want to do reckless things (Cut, Abuse Alcohol) and I was hearing little voices in my head telling me to do those reckless things!. My mind was racing and it wouldn't slow down and I was running around everywhere!. Each time I ended up crying because I couldn't handle it and we eventually took myself off the medication!. (I had only taken it twice, it was that bad!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm on lexapro 30mg for depession, and I've been on it for 7 weeks now and feel no difference!. So what i'm trying to say that I don't think its working!. I'ts hard to find the right one for you!. Hopefully I find one soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Extreme stomach cramping that seemed to last 2-3 days for every dosage I took!. Sudden on set of weight gain to the tune of like 40-50lbs!. Insomnia so bad that I didn't sleep for weeks it felt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
