Question: Do side effects from Concerta stop once the body becomes adjusted!?
I just started my 9 year old son on 18mg yesterday!. I've noticed his appetite has disappeared!. He is already light, so this worries me!. Is this an ongoing side effect, or will it go away once his body gets used to it!?
Also, is there any medication that DOESN't Supress appetite!? We tried Strattera before, but it was a disaster!.
I would rather not have my son on any meds, but his ADHD is very severe!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That side effect may or may not go away as the body adjusts!. If it persists I would let the doctor know as these medications can cause appetite suppression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
