Question: Thought diary!?
my theopist told me to do a thought diary, but to be honest i wasnt listening much to her,
could someone just explain to me what a thought diary is!?

Thought Diaries vary!. You can do it however you feel comfortable!. Maybe give a summary of your day!. When you faced issues that caused you to feel negatively OR positively, write how you handled that moment and how you felt at that time!. You can also reflect later!. Maybe the next day you can add to something from the day before!. For example, if you've rethought something and realized you could or should have handled something differently!. Or maybe after reflection you will feel proud of how you dealt with something!. I hope that helps!. BTW, don't throw it out when you're done!. Keep it secret and you'll want to reflect on it after the years go on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Simple format: Divide a paper into three columns!. When you have a thought you want to put down, write it in the first column!. In the second column, put down the feeling that was associated with your thought!. Third column, put down what you did as a response, if you did anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Basically, a thought diary is just something to write your thoughts down in, whether they are important things or unimportant!. I use one myself and I do find it therapeutic!. Though I do have some strange thoughts at times!. Lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
