Might just be depressed, but not sure?!

Question: Might just be depressed, but not sure!?
It's not caused by girls, or money, or family trouble, or anything, really, as far as I can tell!. I just sort of woke up one day feeling like my head was full of air and unable to think or remember anything very clearly!. I thought that was disturbing enough, but within ten minutes of getting up, I realized I didn't feel at all like myself!.

Hopelessness definitely, lack of motivation, and an inability to enjoy life even in the best of circumstances!. It's like I've got a little voice in my head that constantly tells me that something is terribly wrong!. And it refuses to go (a whole month, now)!.

Sounds a lot like depression!. Something's different about it, though, it feels more physical than usual!. I keep getting huge f*cking migraines and muscle pains, and strangely enough, I still feel happy sometimes!. When I do, though, that little voice is there eating away at the happiness, telling me all the things that are wrong!. It feels like something's eating my brain!.

Help!? Sorry for length!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi,
I've been suffering from diagnosed "endogenous depression" for 20 years, ie!. it is a chemical imbalance, likely genetic and incurable, but kept at bay by medication and sometimes phsycotherapy!.
Some of your symptoms are exactly the same as mine, although the muscle pains and headaches may really need to be checked out!.
I totally relate to "the voice", and being unhappy even in happy circumstances etc!.
My depression didn't become debitlitating until I was 27! So sometimes you can push through it for many years!.
But it sounds like you do need at least to have blood tests etc!. to rule out any other causes of your symptoms, and if you are suffering from depression, you will need medication!.
But take heart, anti depressants are not addictive, nor do they give you an "artificial high"!. All I know is that the many times I hace tried to come off them without a doctor's supervision I have ended up in the deepest deressions!. Many times, I think they have saved my life!.
Please consider getting professional help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
