Question: I cant fix this!?
i hav talked 2 my friends bout my depression but they dont understand at all!.
my best friend 4 more then 10 years hate me cause im depressed she didnt even try 2 save me i told her i was going 2 kill myself all she said was GOOD LUCK and then i jumped i wish i had died tht day!. its the only thing tht will make me happy!.!.!.i cant stop thinking bout death and how i will be better off dead how ppl will be happy tht im dead

Sometimes when people talk about killing themselves they are really asking for help!. They may have problems that they can't see a solution to and think that death is the only solution!. I know!. I felt like that once!.

Just remember that suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem!. Life does change and what may seem insurmountable today you may laugh about in another week, month or year!. You may use this experience to help others (which is what I do)!.

The fact that you are asking 'what the f*** do I do!?' means that you want solutions!. You really need to talk to your doctor and ask to be referred to a therapist!. If you are not already taking anti depressants then your doctor will give you some!. I don't know where you live, but make inquiries (your doctor will know) about free services in your area so that you don't have to worry about money!.

Also, if your friend hates you because you are depressed then she isn't a friend!. Instead of relying on others to make you well you need to take responsibility for your own health!. The first step in this is to see a health professional and tell them exactly how you feel!. Don't leave until you get the help you need!. Best wishes :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

All except for no!. (7!.) are safe to use with medication, but not St!. John's wort, because of interactions, and it's sensible to check out anything else first with your doctor!.

(1!.) Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice!. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!.

(2!.) Work up slowly to at least 20 minutes minutes of exercise, daily, or 30 - 60 mns, 5 times weekly!. Too much exercise can cause stress, which isn't wanted when dealing with depression!.

(3!.) Occupational therapy (keeping busy allows little time for unproductive introspection, and keeps mental activity out of less desirable areas of the brain)!.

(4!.) Use daily, one of the relaxation methods in sections 2, 2!.c, 2!.i, or 11, and/or yoga, Tai Chi, and/or the EFT, in sections 2!.q, 2!.o, and section 53, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris whichever works best for you!.

(5!.) Initially, at least, some form of counselling, preferably either Cognitive Behavio(u)ral Therapy, or Rational Emotive Behavio(u)ral Therapy!.

(7!.) As options, if desired, either a known, effective herbal remedy, such as St!. John's wort, 900 mg (standardised hypericin content) or supplements, such as SAMe, taken with a vitamin B complex which is certified as being 100% of natural origin, or Inositol (from vitamin and health food stores, some supermarkets, or mail order: view section 55)!.

An improvement can be noticed in as little as a week, if a deficiency is the cause!. Also, iodised salt is preferable to regular salt!. This is a shortened version of the much more comprehensive post, which may be viewed on page Z!.12, in section 2 of ezy build, above, but to gain full appreciation, section 2 really is best if viewed in its entirety!. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ It is important to deal with a negative internal monologue (self talk), or mental process, such as disturbing thoughts, or images, by the process of (a): recognising it, and (b): challenging it immediately!.

When you notice something negative, such as: "I'm never going to get over this!" or: "Why am I always so pathetic/useless/such a loser!?" or even: "I can't do this/will never get over this!", or a disturbing image, recognise that this is part of the mindset which will hold you back from progressing in your recovery!. Having identified and labelled it, I first visualise a large "STOP!" sign, then I say to myself as forcefully as you can, even aloud in a big voice, if alone: "I know this tactic: GO AWAY FOR A WHILE !!!" You may want to use either: "ruse", "ploy", "game", or "trick", instead of "tactic"!. In the case of an image, visualise a large "STOP" sign, or your preferred version!. Some people go so far as to keep a wide rubber band in their pocket, then put it around their wrist, when they catch themselves backsliding, stretch and release it, as a method of reprogramming their mind sooner, but I don't regard it as being strictly necessary!. Remember to remove it, afterwards, if you use this method!.

Use the above, when thoughts of suicide, or death intrude on your consciousness!. Replace with: "Think only of the present, and the immediate future"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
