Hi, Im an alcoholic too!. That's the disease talking not you!. You don't want to hurt anyone but it makes you!. I know you are a better person than this!. Rehab and 12 step programs DO NOT WORK!. They did not work for me because I didn't want to quit!. I figure, hell, if my aunt just died of cancer within 6 weeks that could be me!. And she never had a drink in her life!. I can relate to you on so many levels!. The alcohol is stronger than the love for your daughter and that is when you know ur in trouble!. It's your life but try to stop for just one day and see how much u miss ur daughter!. Im guessing you drink to numb that pain also!. It's a viscious cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, You can't stop drinking on your own!. I will tell you one thing, your liver and kidneys will stop functioning and you can't live without these organs!. I know because I have a son-in-law who is an alcoholic,and has a liver function ov 25%!. Been to a rehab, came home and is still drinking!. The Dr!.'s told him, "If You Don't Stop Drinking" You will not see your 3 yr!. old reach 5yrs!. He is still drinking, and I know he doesn't want to, but just can't find the inerstrength to get it done!. I pray for him, to find the strength!. I know it will be the hardest thing he will ever do!. Get Some Good Help, do it for yourself, and your child!. God will help you If you ask, and you will have to ask him every morning and night!. And that takes strength on your part!. It's no shame to ask him for help, He is the one and only that can help you in the end!. But you need the help and support of others like you!. Good Luck to you! Yes!. You are very addicted to alchohol, we will all of course die one day but if you continue to drink then you're just going to mentally retard the child, or give them an inborn addiction (which is, admitably, rare!.) Your obviously an alcoholic! You need help because you arnt able to help yourself!. Its over taken you mentally and physically, in no shape or form does this mean you dont love your daughter, you are sick right now and need medical attention!. You need a support group!
