Question: Buy med at drugstore!?
I need to get the med prescribed by my doctor at a drugstore, but I never went up to the prescription counter before (i also have social phobia, rarely go out and afraid to look stupid)!. What do i do when i get there, where do i put my prescription and do i pay there or at the cashier at the front!? please help!?!? (step by step guide much appreciated)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll enter the store, and walk to the pharmacy section which is often located in the rear of the store!. Look for a sign that says "prescription drop off" but if you don't see one, just give your prescription to the person behind the counter!. If your doctor has called the prescription in to the pharmacy, just tell them that you are there to pick up the medication for (your name)!. Go to the drop off area of the pharmacy counter!. Hand them your prescription, and ask the price of a generic!. If the price seems ok, then go back at the time they tell you to pick up your prescription!. Once you pay for your prescription, ask for a short consultation with the pharmacist!. They should be able to give you any information necessary in order to take your medication correctly!.

1!. Get out of the house (I know it is hard but its okay)
2!. Never mind anyone who stares at you (I know the feeling that everyone is staring and finding whats bad about you)
3!. When you reach the drugstor, fall in line in the counter
4!. Give you prescriptions
5!. The lady or sir will get the med
6!. Pay it and get the meds
7!. Get home really fast

Hunii, they have drive thru prescription service these days!.
Literally, Drive up, hand them your prescription , and insurance card thru the window , Its like a drive up bank window!. They will ask you a couple questions, like to verify your address to make sure it is you picking it up when you come back
They will ask you what time you want it back, and tell them in a couple hours or this even or tomorrow, etc
or you can tell them you will do a bit of "shopping" and be back in 30 to 1/2 hour!. (depends how far your store is)_ mine is around the corner so i go home
When you get back they will verify your address, etc and ask for the payment!. put the money in the window!. they will then send our your prescription!!!

There will be a sign that says prescription drop off take your slip there and have your insurance card ready (if you have one) It will ususally take a hour sometimes less to fill wait or come back and pick it up at the pick up window and pay there!.!. Not a big deal pretty simple and easy!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
just go to the prescription counter and wait till someone serves you, ask them to have it processed, sometimes u pay at that counter (if u can see a register u probably pay there), they will call your name when the chemist on duty has put your script together then u grab it off them and leave the storeWww@Answer-Health@Com
