Does anything help with the withdrawal symptoms of effexor xr?!

Question: Does anything help with the withdrawal symptoms of effexor xr!?
Answers:
Yes!. Taking fish oil capsules does help with the dreaded brain zaps, although it doesn't get rid of them completely!. I've been there and know exactly how it feels to come off of Effexor!. Fish oil helped me out a lot!. Look for fish oil with a high percentage of EPA!. Here's a link to the one that worked for me!. Take two of these a day!.

There are other higher quality brands, but this is affordable!. Consider taking fish oil from now on if you want to get rid of depression!. Just do a web search for "Fish oil for depression" and you'll find lots of info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even weaning off of it extremely gradually doesn't eliminate the withdrawal symptoms!. In my experience the brain zaps and resulting dizziness are inescapable and lasts for one or two months more at least after the effexor is completely removed!. I've read about coupling and replacing it using an SSRI with a longer half-life to ease symptoms, like prozac, then you'd stop the other SSRI with little/no symptoms (I've never tried this, sounds interesting)!. If it gets too bad go back to the doc and tell him to withdraw slower and/or talk about other options to make it less uncomfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to wean yourself off of them gradually!. Otherwise you get the horrible side effects!. Decrease under the guidance of your doctor and if the side effects are too bad then you shouldnt be stopping taking them xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com
