Can a psychiatrist legally prescribe a sugar pill if he thinks your symptoms are!

Answers:
most likely yes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In theory, a psychiatrist can legally prescribe placebos (in the case of hypochondriacs who are clearly not ill, but only think they are), but it really comes down to the pharmacist!. The psychiatrist and pharmacist would have to have a good relationship!. A psychiatrist can only write the prescription, but the pharmacist is the one who fills it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you were part of a research study, I think this would be possible!. I would hope the psychiatrist would be up front with the person!. I would also hope the doctor would communicate with the patient and work out what the best option for the patient would be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they could put you wouldnt be picking it up from a pharmacy!. probably wont have any info on the bottle either so that would be against the law!. only way he can give is personally with just a couple of pillsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I guess it depends what country your in, im pretty sure that would be illegal in the UK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
