Answers:
Yes, that's a very good start! Keep with A!.A!.! :)

When you're feeling overwhelmed and life is messy, the thing to do is just look at one thing at a time, and get working on it!. Trying to do too much gets overwhelming and jeapordizes success!.

It's going to take time for your life to get sorted out again, so try to be patient!. Things will work again, but life will probably be tough for a little while!. Just hang in there!. If you try to fix too much at once, you'll sabotage your success!. Put first things first!.!.!. get one thing going steady, and only then add another area to try to fix!.

The main thing right now has got to be A!.A!. If you lose that as a priority, success in other areas won't be possible!.!.!. I think you know that, right!?

The second thing you need to work on is taking care of yourself in other ways!.!.!. and this before fixing relationships! In other words, you need to be reliable at work and have housing and see to your health!. It's true for everyone: if you don't take care of yourself first, you can't manage relationships in a healthy way!.

Once you've got a stable living and working situation, then you can see about fixing relationships!.

I wish you the best of luck!. The people in A!.A!. are there to help support you, as you will be there for them, too, when things get a little more settled!.

p!.s!.!.!.!. I just saw Mike O's comment, and he misunderstood the statistics!. "A!.A!. has only a 5% retention rate," but that's people who stick with the program from the first time they start attending!. The percentage of people who ultimately recover from alcoholism is much higher! For example, this recovery center has an 80% long-term success rate, and i saw another that has a 70% success rate!. Don't let that erroneous comment about 5% discourage you!. You aren't a statistic anyway! !.!.!.if you want to recover, don't let anything stand in your way!. I included a link below to more reliable numbers for recovery!.
