What would cause anxiety?!


Question: What would cause anxiety!?
I have become increasingly anxious about everything for the past two years!. I worry about my family, my pets, my job, my health, the world, my house, my car, my husband, everything! It is to the point where I have almost become a hypochondriac, and I lay awake at night worrying!. The other day, I had finished all my cleaning, and was sitting on the bed watching TV, and I felt very very strange, like I was forgetting something!. Then I realized that it was because I wasn't worried!. How bad is it when you feel strange NOT to worry!?! I don't know what has started these feelings, but I've also gained a significant amount of weight in the past two years, like 50 lbs!. Could it have to do with my parent's divorce around that time, or could it be due to a medical problem!? I know I should go see a shrink, but I've never been before and they're intimidating!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was the same for the past year!. I worried about everything!. It got worse and then 2 months ago I had my first full blown panic attack!. This of course made me think I had a deadly illness or was dying!. For about 2 weeks I stayed at home since I feared outside!. I was put on Lexapro and Xanax and got enrolled with a therapist and have monthly visits with my physician!. I suggest you do the same before you get worse!. Once you have a bad panic attack, it's hard to get over it!. I've been diagnosed with Panic disorder, which is a disorder where i focus on having another panic attack!. Go see your doctor and get on some meds!. there's usually no significant event that causes anxiety!. It's just a matter of how one handles stress!. People like you and me don't handle it correctly, so we have it bottled up in our body!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

parents' divorce could be causing you anxiety!. don't get worked up about seeing a shrink, it's not a big deal!.

you need to search inside yourself to see what causes the anxiety - sometimes it is not that obvious!. self-exploration is possible, but sometimes a shrink will help you find a problem you can't find on your own!. also, if you are having problems in your life you won't admit to yourself or you are pushing down, they will spring up as anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please don't feel intimidated going to a psychiatrist!.
They want to help you!. Two years is a long enough time to be suffering!. A psychiatrist might prescribe medication to help with your anxiety!. Worrying seems to become a habit for you!. Therapy can help you look at some of the things you are worried about!. Once you start to look at what's worrying you, you can ask yourself, How likely is it that this particular thing is going to happen!? Please get some help for yourself!. i think ur stress out and have some sort a disorder, (don't want to make it sound bad, srry) i think u should go c therapist they can help u figure out ur problems before they get worst, don't worry about them being intimidating most of them are the best and had helped people with problems like u so relax, and go take a nice relax bubble bath, if u do forget something, say to ur self " Its ok, I just won't do that mistake again" write wat u need in a planner that way u can check ur self and that way u can assure to urself ur not forgetting anything, but i still suggests u c a "shrink" ok, feel better :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
