Answers:
The Sedona Method is essentially a fancy-packed version of "awareness meditation!." It's very similar to Tibetan Buddhism!. (If you're a Christian, you might learn alot about Buddhism from the book "Living Buddha, Living Christ" by Thich Nhat Hahn!. It compares and contrasts the two religions and presents some meditation styles that are compatible with Christianity!.)

You'll find lots of self-help programs like Sedona that are available for purchase!. Sometimes, a person enters into such a program already convinced that it will work!. This is a HUGE factor in how successful the program will ultimately be!. More often, however, the miraculous results you'll read about in the brochure are only obtained by a tiny percent of the people who buy into it!.

A much better approach is to find a counselor who you get good vibes from, and to meet with him or her on a regular basis!.

Just look in the phonebook for "counselors" and make some calls!. Ask if the agencies have someone who specializes in anxiety!. If you're worried about paying for the sessions, ask if the offer a 'sliding fee scale' or if they have a counseling aide or counseling tech who can help set you up with funding!. Then ask for an intake appointment; the counselor will meet with you and together you'll come up with some goals for your time together!. You'll get a first impression of the counselor, and from that you can decide if you want to come back!. You'll have no obligation to return; you're free to try someone else until you find a counselor you make a good connection with!.

Remember those words: Specialist, sliding scale, and intake appointment!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
