What to do if I just told my parents that I have AvPD and they don't believe!

Question: What to do if I just told my parents that I have AvPD and they don't believe me!?
Answers:
OK PvPD is Avoidant Personality Disorder for those of you who don't know!. Second why do you think you have this, were you diagnosed!? If you were I am sure with or without support from your family you can be OK!. Although I know it would be nice if you had support!. I think you should stay in therapy if you have been diagnosed and if this is just something you think you have then get checked out by a Dr!. and go from there!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I could find hundreds of disorders that fit me or even a mentally healthy person, especially personality disorders (i!.e!. schizoid, avoidant, whatever) but this doesn't necessarily mean you have one, and even if you do, you probably don't have the one you suggested!. You need an OBJECTIVE diagnosis from a professional!. Discuss your suspected disorder with him when you get there and your symptoms!. See the link below!.

Did you diagnose yourself or is that what your professional therapist/psychiatrist/doctor diagnosed you as!?
Tell your parents you'd like to see a psychologist or a mental health doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry but what is AvPD !?!?!?!?

Thankyou !. I would either ask your doctor for a letter of proof OR make an appointment to go and see your doctor and take one or both parents with you so the doctor can explain xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the docters and show them the results!. Thats what i would do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
