Wow - same situation! I'm 29, got laid off two weeks ago fro a job I was lucky to get in the first place (because it was not in my major) and now can't find a job!. Seems like I'll have to wait tables in the meantime; plus I'll eventually have to go back to school if I ever want a real job!. This is horribly depressing seeing that I'm 29, almost 30! I'm over weight too, which I feel doesn't help my job search because people are really superficial that way!. I'm not sure this provides any comfort but at least maybe knowing you are not the only one hopefully helps!. It's hard to push through and move on when things seem stacked against you!. I will say that this is life!. And will continue to be this way unfortunately!. Things come in cycles, so you will be up again; but the trick to self-sustainability is too plan for the downs when you are up!. We tend to not do much "crisis" planning when we are up!. It's not easy!. I have no solution!. I am barely scratching by myself!. Keep yourself busy is my best advice!. Do everyday things!. Keep a schedule!. Being at home causes me to sleep around and watch too much TV while I agonize over my situation!. Lately I have gone to the gym every morning; and have done my job search outside the home so I don't linger over to the couch!. Friends and a social life help too!. Good luck!. Email me if you like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think life can often be overwhelming, particularly at the turning points!. I'm fresh out of university trying to find jobs related to my area of study while not entirely sure what it is I want to do with my life!. I have so many things I need to accomplish and most are reliant on my success with the other targets and it's hard to know where to begin!. Things have a tendency to work themselves out though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Couple of great answers above!. Life threw a curveball at me recently too, and it can be really difficult, but in times of crisis we tend to blow these things up bigger than they really are!. Also the expectations we tend to put on ourselves and others arn't always consistant with reality!. The big 3-0 is probably whats really bothering you, and you're not an astronaut like you thought you would be when you were a kid!. Well I've got news for you:

neither am I!.

But you know what!? Life is still good, and there's new challenges every day that keep life interesting!. Who knows, maybe in 10 years I could be that astronaut!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah I'm dealing with it right now!. Being a teenager sucks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In fact do 2 walks a day!.!.!.
Just use this time, to boost yourself up, instead of locking yourself in the house, and becoming more and more down!.
Yes, I have been there, and I have felt overwhelmed!.!.and i didnt feel like I could face the next day!.!.But once i started all of this!.!.!.I looked forward to the next day!.
By doing this, your gonna build your confidence up, and when you go into apply for jobs, that confidence will show from the inside out!. And slowly but surely, your gonna love the new YOU, your gonna have a job!.!.!.and your gonna shed some pounds!.!.!.
