Question: I am so paranoid PLEASE help!!?
I am home alone a lot because my fiance works overnight sometimes this week he is working an overnight every other night! I am scared the house will get robbed and I will get killed or something!. I live in Duluth,MN and we only have home robberies like 3 times a year so 3 houses it is a town of 86,000 people!. Is that a lot of robberies!? I dont live in a bad neighborhood but not the nicest either, its average!.
Also I like in side by side townhomes does that make it less likely people will break in due to having connected walls with neighbors!? Also we dont owe anyone money or anything so I dont see anyone robbing us for money or something!.!.!.!.what are the chances of robbery for my situation!?
Oh and I have a gun (a shotgun) up in my bedroom with bullets!.!.and a hunting knife and the phone is next to me and all doors and windows are locked!. I dont have a dog but I have 4 cats!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to relax!.!.!.!.when he goes to work!.!.!.!.lock the doors, and turn the outside light on!.!.!.this will distract anyone that comes close to your home!.!.!.!.
Next, fix ya a snack, get in front of the tv, and watch your favorite movie!.!.!.
When its time to go to bed!.!.!.do what you do, to feel better!.!.
But say a little prayer!.!.!.God will give you peace if you ask him for it!.!.!.!.!.!.lay there and just meditate, relax!.!.!.If you want, leave the tv on in the other room, so it looks like someone is wide awake!.!.!.!.

hey dont worry about it!. just keep a phone near you!. you cant pick weather ur house gets robbed or not!. what ever will be will be!. just be calm about it!. if you do need to use ur gun in any situation, dont shoot into the upper body, shoot at the knees!. if you get them there, they cant walk so ur safe and you can call the police!. if you want the house not to get robbed, try turning on some lights and the porch lights!. if you have a light in the basement, turn it on!. another thing is to talk to someone on the phone!. it will help you feel less alone!. there will always be someone on yahoo for you to talk to also!. sit with ur cats, it can be comforting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I can totally understand this because I have the same problem!. My boyfriend works nights and I get totally freaked out thinking someone will break in!. I don't think your town has a lot of robberies, so I think you're pretty safe!. As long as you have everything locked I'm pretty sure you will be ok!. Maybe you could keep the tv on low and if someone was thinking of breaking in they would hear it and leave you alone!. What I did was buy a dog, he barks at the slightest noise so I know if someone is outside!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
