Is feeling like bugs are crawling on me a withdrawal symptoms of self-injury?!

Question: Is feeling like bugs are crawling on me a withdrawal symptoms of self-injury!?
I just quit cutting/burning myself, and at night I have been tossing and turning, because I feel like bugs are crawling on me!. Then, I have to get up, out of bed, and brush down my sheets (even though there's nothing there), check myself for bugs, and even changes pajamas, several times in a night!. Last night I only got two hours of sleep because of it!. Is this the effects of self-injury withdrawal!? Or is there something seriously wrong with me!?
*Note: I take showers regularly, and I know for certain that it's not fleas or mites!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This feeling will go away, if you're nervous just check the bed before you hop in, and then rest easy, You can always rub yourself down or massage wherever it feel like something is on you!.
Hang in there with the self-injury, talk to some friends and family and get the stress off!. Don't resort back to cutting yourself, drink something calming before you go to bed like decaffeinated tea with lavender or something soothing, also avoid being in front of computer screens, tvs, game boys, etc!. 30 minutes before you go to sleep!. If you're having many problems call your counselor and schedule an appointment or ask over the phone!. Just reaffirm yourself that nothing's there!. You can get through this, I know it's gonna be tough but hold on, you can do it :)

Also if you keep having this feeling just sit up and read a book or something to keep your mind off of it, walk around your room or write in a journal, see if you can search back in your head to all kinds of different memories, like jump from one to the other, after you start thinking of some and racking your brain, you can always laugh at all the funny moments, happy moments, etc!. keep it positive and if you can't keep your mind off of it be sure to challenge yourself, try to figure out what your first memory ever was, or what you ate a week ago, it can get fun!.

So good luck, if none of these work you may need to call terminex ;)

oh and, I'm sure you don't have micro-bugs under your skin so, no worriesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe its an allergy to something in your bedroom!. Your soap!? Are you taking any medication!? Maybe you are allergic to it!. I had a similar reaction to Sulfa medication!. And, by the way, get some help about the cutting & burning!. Its a way to control pain, by inflicting it on yourself!. Why not do something positive, get help, work on the cause of the pain, don't be the one who inflicts pain!. If you can't be nice to yourself, who will be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is with drawl from enflicting pain on youself (the cutting) - your body is used to a surge of pain often - so feeling like there are bugs on your skin is just a way of your body dealing with the sudden change!. It should go away but theres no teling how long - everyone is different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you ever thought of getting your skin checked by a doctor!? Are you taking any sleeping pills!? Do go and have your skin checked because there was once a case of micro bugs/ worms under the skin due to frequently eating raw fish!.!.There was an article on a Japanese man who had micro larvae worms under his skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Congratulations for not cutting yourself anymore!.
I think it will take time to get over this habit!. You didn't state how long you had been cutting yourself or if you are in counselling!.

If you are not in counselling, I suggest you see one to help you thru this next stage!.

Good luck with your journey!.
