Verbal abuse is demeaning and a way to make the victim feel belittled!. If you feel its verbal abuse, chances are it is!. Don't let the person make you feel like you are being "overly sensitive" as the abuser sometimes does!. The response should lay along the lines of "it will not be tolerated!." Verbal abuse is easy to identify, it is usually yelling without thought or need over not much or it can be a personal attack on a person, eg appearance!. If something is being said in a manner or tone you are not comfortable with them it is verbal abuse, it does not necessarily have to contain rude language but can be off putting to the person it is directed at!. A verbal abuse involves personal life, private background that a person knows, crab mentality, discriminating intentionally and more!. Verbal abuse also uses loathing words and they may also be an exposed secret!.
