Why do I feel this way about them?!

Question: Why do I feel this way about them!?
Okay this is about therapists I always feel there so fake I don
Answers:
I believe that a lot of therapists become therapists because of personal experience!. I think some of them went through horrific events and they went through it on their own!. I think they want to help people find better ways to deal with life!. They want you to be successful!.!.!.!.!. My dad is a therapist and he had a bad childhood!. He wants to help other people deal with bad things and make better choices!. He wants to help people find their way!. I think when you say they are just in it for the money, then you are not ready to deal with the things that have happened to you!. It is a lot easier to pretend that things didn't happen!. Therapists make us talk about those things and they don't pretend to understand, I think a lot really do understand!.

FYI, My dad doesn't make a killing in his paycheck!. He earns enough to live!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel that way about them too!. It's like they don't even care, they just want their money!. But that's probably not true and you gotta understand, they are people with emotions too and they're doing their best to hide it from others!. The most common reason for people to become therapists is to deal with their own problems and listening to others' problems is comforting in a way!. Yes, it annoys me too but they're there to help you, not the other way around, so discussing their problems is irrelevant!. I asked my teacher (who's also a therapist) why he's always smiling and making jokes out of everything once and he admitted that he's a human too and has to hide his feelings and that the students don't need a weak guide!. And he works his a$s off for all of his clients and that's the same with most psychologists!. When they just sit there you get the impression that they don't give a damn while actually they're busting their a$s off the whole time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you are logical in that it is their profession to listen and try to understand!. I do not think good therapists act like they know!. I really love speaking to psychologists!. It is someone who is restricted by the law from telling any of your secrets!. You can be your self with them and they can not pass judgement!. And for some reason they want to spend their days helping oher people try and figure out their messed up lives!. How noble!.

Also I feel like their are a lot of professional people who do have to keep a facade at work!. Waitresses are more polite than they would be if they were serving friends or family!.!.!.!. Doctors have the facade as do teachers etc!.

I think that maybe you need a new therapist or you need to cut your act and be who you are and work on yourself!. That is the point of therapy after all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Right now I am studying to be a therapist and what you are feeling is totally natural!. NO it is not their job to ACT like they understand, it is their job to understand you and care for you and really try to help you!.

And im not gonna lie, the money in this business is good but most people that get into it don't do it for the money they do it cuz they really do want to help people!. Yes it is their job and its what they get paid to do but they love what they do and caring for people is part of it!.

well i hope that helped youWww@Answer-Health@Com

If the therapists were really just into making money, they'd have trained as plumbers, instead!.

We all have different aspects of ourselves, depending on the situation!. I behave differently at work than I do playing with my friend's baby; I behave differently with my sweetie when we're at church than when we're at home, alone!.

Of course, a good therapist is going to bring to the therapy session as much as is apprioriate of her/his full life experience and training!.

Therapists are good and friends are good!. But I don't think it's fair to expect one to be the other!. We can't reasonably expect our friends to have the years of training or experience to understand mental health issues, and I don't think it's wise to tell our friends all our deepest issues, or to expect perfect confidentiality from them!. On the other hand, friends care for and support each other in more direct and on-going ways!. Your therapist isn't going to show up at your doorstep with a plate of freshly-baked cookies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im going to see one in a few hours!.!.!. and i absolutely hate mine!.

You first need to give the one you have some time!. Then go looking for another one!.

I had a really really good one that i really liked, who was real who helped me!. She doesnt deal with manic depressive syndrome though!. So i had to switch after being diagnosed!.

And i agree!. My current one is different too, she is also herself in the session, but i dont like that person!.

I AM NOT LIKE "THEM"!. She is always making general statements!. Like im some scene or gothic or some emo person!.

She sees people in steirotypes!

IM A HUMAN!

Sorry about the rant, but yes, most are like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most therapists care deeply about people which is why they got into it to begin with! sounds like you have some trust issues! but the most important thing is for you to feel safe and able to trust them enough to really open up! I am sure there is one out ther for you! ask around and don't settle until you find someone right for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to consider mental health workers to be quacks and idiots, but overall they know what they're doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
