Okay so lay in your bed as comfortable as you can, close your eyes, turn off the lights, make sure that no one will disturb you, and think about something beautiful!. I'm not talking about your spouse or the A you got at an exam!. That won't make you sleepy!. For example you can imagine a tree - the green leafs, brown trunk, maybe some beautiful flowers or coloured fruits!. Imagine it - you are there, near that tree!. You can hear the birds chirping and you can see the butterflies flying around!. What about the sky!? Is there any cloud!? Or is it sunny!? Imagine it the way you like it! You feel sleepier and sleepier!. You are there, near the tree!. You lay down in its shadow!. All you want is to sleep, so you will be able to see that tree in your dream!.
Or anything like this!. A river, a field of your favourite flowers, the beach, at the mountains!. It has to be nature and you have to like it!.
I had had this problem for like 6 months, until I went to a psychologist (not even the pills worked for me)!. And she told me to do this!. At first, I got angry and thought this was ridiculous, but it really worked and now I can sleep and I'm not tired anymore!.
Try this, it's not me who's giving you this piece of advice, but my psychologist!.

Melatonin is a chemical your body produces!. It helps regulate your internal clock!. They sell that OTC and it works wonders for me!.

Valarian Root and PassionFlower are two other natural herbs that help with sleep!.

All of these can be found at a healthfood store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I drink Sleepy Time Extra by celestial seasonings when I am tired!. I think that you could also check your diet and make sure you are getting enough excercise during the day!. Also if you are not remembering driving to work it is time that you seek professional help!. Make an appointment and see a psychologist or physician or someone!. You are putting your life and the lives of others in danger if you are "blacked out" behind the wheel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to relax!. light a couple of lavander aroma candles and have a hot bath and listen to some calming music!. and if that doesnt work then try to tire your eyes by fixing your eyes on one spot that is high above your head but dont tilt your head to look at it just use your eyes stare at that spot for about 10secs then start to bring your eyes out adding something to that spot in stages of 10secs each time!. (dont know if you understand me but if you do it does work)

there is a breathing technique that you could use!. you breathe in slowly for the count of 3 then exhale slowly for the count of 4! sounds too simple to work but it does! also try relaxing your muscles starting from your feet and work your way all the way up! you have to tell yourself mentally to relax each muscle! example I am now relaxing my feet,i am now relaxing my calves and give each muscle group a minute to relax before you move on to the next!Www@Answer-Health@Com

a cup of sage tea an hr before bed time helps meWww@Answer-Health@Com
