http://blog!.wired!.com/gadgets/imac_brush!.!.!.

it shocks me!. it doesn't hurt (usually,) but it's suprising!. the scary part is, nobody else can feel it!. i've had about 10 people touch it, and it NEVER shocks them!. i can't find any info about people having the same problem with this keyboard on the internet!. today i felt almost the same sensation in my hand, except i wasn't touching this keyboard, or anything made of metal!. everybody thinks it's in my head, and that would scare me if it was true!. my mom suggested that maybe it's because i have metal braces, and nobody else who touched it does, but that doesn't make sense to me!. please help me, i'm really getting disconcerted!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You say you felt the same sensation when you weren't touching anything!? it could be a pinched or inflamed nerve in your hand or wrist, possibly related to carpal tunnel syndrome or something like that!. It can be caused be repetitive stress, such as being on the computer for a long period of time with your hands in the same position!. I personally have a spot on my elbow, and when I have been on the computer too long and I put my elbow down on the table it sends a shock down my arm!. Try using the keyboard with your hand or wrists at a different angle - use a wrist support, or raise your chair several inches to change the angle of you arms to the desk!. If it continues to bother you, see a doctor - they can give you special wrist supports to keep your hands at angle that is less stressful!. Take lots of breaks from the keyboard, if possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
