I had a panic attack and year and a couple a mths ago!. I had them off and on for abt a month!. I would have shortness of breath but my hurt would beat really fast, I would get so nervouse that I couldn't sit down, i got dizzy, and hot!. It was horrible, i even fainted onetime!. Well when I have a panic attack I feel like the world is falling apart!. I start to get dizzy and my heart races!. I start to lose control of my legs!.!.!.like they are made of jelly, and I just can't see!.!.it's like the lights are turned out!.

The way I overcome one (when I'm hit with one) is first to try to stay calm!.!.!.breath deep and sit down!.!.!.don't want to fall and hit my head!.!.!.that woudlnt' help much!.!.!.I will talk to myself saying that everythign is ok and will be ok!.!.!.and just breath until it stops!. When you are having a panic attack and do not take medication, stop and concentrate on taking slow deep breaths, and talk yourself into relaxing!. If you can, go into a cool room or outside where there is fresh air!. I have had panic attacks in the past and this always worked for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
