Answers:
Depanding on the mental issue it can bring on stress physcially or mentally couse you to be depressed and feel like you know longer care if you live or die!.The best way to keep that from happening to you is to get out before it over takes your mind and you become a lost soul like him!.As I said before look me up if you need a friend to talk too!.ken_spencer2000Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. You, yourself can become depressed!. In addition, the added stress can affect your imune system, which subjects your body to more infections!. If you "have" to deal with this person, then they should be on meds and under a doctor's care!. If it appears that their meds are not working then perhaps his/her doctor needs to make a change!. It's very difficult to separate yourself from a person you love, whom suffers from mental illness!. You want to protect them but at the same time, you wear yourself out!. If you have a situation where you must care for this person often or daily, maybe you should consider hiring someone to help out so you have time to yourself to do things that are mental and physically enjoyable for you!. Even if it's a one hour massage or a walk, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it definitely can!. It's especially hard if it's a family member or someone to whom you have an emotional connection!.

It's tricky because you don't want to shut the person out or anything, you still should connect with them; but you must look out for yourself and maintain a safe distance from their problems!.

Cover your bases, and do everything you can so that in your heart you know you're helping!. Have that difficult conversation or confrontation if you have to (whatever it may be) and get it out of the way!. Verbally offer your support, and just try to make sure they know you care!. And do things that help; caring is doing!.

Once those bases are covered, devote other energy to taking care of yourself!. If you have to get out of the house, find an excuse to!. Go for a walk, go to the library, or something else useful!. If appropriate, tell the person why you have to leave!. Or just make it a daily routine!. Schedule in some "away time for me!."

Don't be afraid to simply walk away from a conversation if it's making you feel bad!. You can still live with them on your terms, but try to meet them halfway, keeping in mind their terms are distorted or unusual!.

Hope these tips help!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
