It depends what you mean!. Racing thoughts could be due to other things like Adrenalin, anxiety, OCD, etc!. An example of bipolar racing thoughts would be not remembering the start of the sentence you are thinking by the time you get to the end of it!.!.!. repeatedly happening!. It's basically having your thoughts go so fast that you just can't keep up with them!. Unlike anxiety, this goes on for days to weeks or months - however long the hypomanic episode goes!. Adrenalin doesn't last long!. Anxiety usually doesn't maintain that clip and it usually ebbs and flows while being more content specific (I think!?)!. OCD is the same thing circling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't be silly-have you alto going on at the moment!? try making lists of things you Need to do in priority order-get a diary!. There maybe an under lining worry that is making things muddled at the mo!.
Bio polar and manic depression are medical terms under mental health used to describe extreme feelings and behaviours in periods of time!.
Anxiety is very common-due to life styles that we now choose-its seems sometimes like a juggling act!. Is your sleeping affected-if so u may want to see your GP for a re feral to a CB therapist-they are very supportive skilled professionals!. Of course there is medication-but i would recommend as a last resort!. Look up these illnesses on the net for yourselfWww@Answer-Health@Com

It may be a number of things but , remember:

before being diagnosted as bipolar, doctors are supposed to "eliminate " every other possible health problems that may be accuring!!

For example: They will check you'r thyroid gland, you'r hormones in your blood, they might even do brain scans and a number of series of testing before comming to the conclusion that bipolar is the condition you have!.It's a process of elimination since, they can't do a test that will indicate if YES/or NO you are bipolar!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Don't jump into conclusions to quickly and PLEASE don't label yourself mentally ill at the first glace (others do it so well for us!!:S!.!.!.lol) Their may just be something else going on!.!.!.( like a lack of vitamine D, or B12, etc!.)

Best bet is to talk it out with your doctor and , you'll see what 's next; ) And if you do not have a doctor, call a crisis help line!.!.!.they will be more professionnally able to answer all your question!. I wouldn't stress it out,

!.!.!. My anxiety and pannick had gone up and I was worried that i was suffering from something worse than bipolar!.!.!.!.then my doc!. told me that I had a deficiency in B12 and THAT could increase my anxiety and pannicks!.!.!.!.!.!.

We tend to see the bad side to quickly, ( I admit, I'll be the same!.!.!.) Just don't rush into labelling yourself with a mental illnes!!; ) I' m sure you will be better!.!.!.some periods in life just seem harder and endless!.!.!.!.

Keep hope and, learn relaxation methods that work for you ( that will help slow down your racing thoughts!.!.!.!.) Their are alot of self-help book out there that may help you find harmony!.!.!.!.!.
