Question: Older and wiser: How do you deal with the things that you can't have/ control!?
Such as not having your dream job, dream spouse, dream anything!.

looking for balanced perspective on the said issue by being honest & reflecting,
i!.e!. "what do i need to do or what am i NOT doing to be able to get !.!.!."
balance it out by also asking, "why do i want this!?",
do i really need this, if not, then why do i want it so bad!?!?",
or "what is my motivation or inner-driving force for "needing" this!?"
that question usually brings the reality to the forefront fast, but you have to be ready mentally/"spiritually" to face such question/answer; if you aren't mature or focused- then you won't be "equipped"/able to do the things required to get the dream job, dream house, dream car etc

Concentrate on things that you do have!. How many people in the world are there who would not be able to have a computer!?
How many people are not well enough to have any job whose "dream job" would be being able to do anything at all!?
Concentrate on the stuff you CAN do and think about what you can give to help make other peoples' dreams come true rather than what you can get!.
Pretty soon you will find that dreams you hadn't even thought of having start coming true for you and that these dreams are far more satisfying than anything you could have dreamt of yourself!.
If you Really get selfish and want more stuff than you have been given you can ask God ( or whatever you call the wisdom of the universe) to give it to you!. The only problem is that He always gives you what you ask for and sometimes we find that along the way He has shown us what it was we REALLY wanted but has taken that away!.
I asked him for a nice house of my own to live in, I thought that He would find some way to let me buy it, instead he introduced me to my true love who had a nice house, then He took my true love to Heaven to live with Him there!. Now the nice house doesn't seem so important!.
Its best to give thanks for what has been given and to let HIM decide what we are to be dealt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

By finding a hobby or something else that you enjoy to take your mind off it !. Sometimes you just have to settle for what life gives you and take time to try and change what you can change!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
