Heck no! If I don't name my plant, it will die!. It's some weird psychological personification thing!. If it has a name, it then listens to me, has feelings, gets hungry, and needs attention and I therefore have to take care of it!.!.!. don't feel so weird now, do you!? (:Www@Answer-Health@Com
Definitely an interesting question, the first I've come across!. I'm not sure about naming plants although my mother is very found of her plants and talks to them sweetly when she takes care of them!. To be honest I think it just shows some type of affection and care for things that you have in your life!. To put it in perspective, it's not any different than people naming their cars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't worry about it!. You just take care of Timothy!. People name their plants all the time!. My mom and my co-workers name their plants!. Heck my car is called Petunia!
