I was just dx with schizoaffective disorder (with depression), anxiety disorder with agoraphobia, and a whole list of personality disorders!.!.!. I haven't told my husband about all my dx because I don't feel he really needs to know!. I tell him I have an illness and I need his support and if things start to get out of control I'll tell him what symptoms I'm having but unless he askes I'm not going to tell him my dx!. And as for will they leave you!.!.!.if they leave because they find you have a mental illness you can not control!.!.they just weren't worth the time or energy!.

that depends on the person!. it also depends on whether or not you are getting help or not!. bipolar and ocd are not your fault!. these are illnesses!. if you are getting help and truly doing your best to better yourself and the other person still leaves you then maybe they just aren't ready to handle all of this and that's okay too but you have to let them decide!. god bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends how much that person loves and supports you!.some people have no idea about bi polar and are not very understanding!.if you feel you can speak easily to your partner then do tell them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
