Question: Please help me :[ Blood donation and self-injury!?
So my school is having an end of the year blood drive and I would love to participate!. However, the last time the school had a blood drive and I donated was last year - which was before I started the whole habit of cutting / burning myself!. I love donating, I think it's an amazing experience and a great way to help out !.!.!. but I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to anymore!? And if I am, will they ask questions!? My scars are somewhat recent, they aren't faded or anything but they're not cuts anymore !.!.!. Basically, I would just like to hear about what you think will happen!. Do you have any experience with this, will they allow me to donate, will they ask me a lot of questions!? I would appreciate anything you could tell me about the subject!. If you don't have open wounds/infection you don't have a problem!. They'll ask you what happened, just have something rehearsed!. "it's a long story" works!.!.!.or make a joke like I do "Oh, those!.!.!.I got in a fight with a porcupine believe it or not"Www@Answer-Health@Com
They will as long as there are no new scars, they are just scared about hep b and c because they don't know what you used to cut!. They won't care about old scars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
