Question: My counselor just left and now i want to die!?
i have been seeing the same counselor for over a year for PTSD and i was raped and everything and i really loved her!. she was so great but now shes just leaving me and moving to new jersey!. now i have to start all over again with a new counselor and i wont do it!. i wont!. i think i really want to kill myself and i am scared that i will!.!.!.!.what can i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hun, i know you are going though a hard time!. i have had therpaist leave me and i said i never would go back!. But you go to, i know it is so hard to start over, but if you find a therapist soon before your leaves then maybe you could have them talk so your not starting all over again!. i did that with one of my therapsit!. i know you feel like you can't go on but you can hun, i beleive in you!. you just have to remember you did nothing wrong for here leaving!. hang in there hun, if you need to talk i'm here!. please stay strong and keep ur chin up!. try talking to your brother or parents!. please hang in thereWww@Answer-Health@Com
Try to find other support systems to get you through the transitions!. Kind of like you are already doing now!. You have to give your counselor the freedom to find a new job if she needs to, everyone needs that!. After you've been through trauma, it's hard not to center on the pain you are feeling!. It's going to hurt to lose someone who you've trusted and get the inner strength to get through what will be tough!. Just keep trying to connect with other people online, blog or start a written journal, check out some emergency support numbers or support groups in your area if it gets too bad!. I don't know if you can be happy for your counselor in her new job, but I know there are a lot of people out there going through similar things that you did that might need her help, too and her new job might be getting others her assistance, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Maybe you should give this new counselor a try!. You may be surprised and I'm sure that everything you've talked about with the other one will be on your records and notes she kept!. And if you don't like this one, then maybe you should move to NJ yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure theres a way you can still keep in contact with her, like through emails or maybe on the phone!? Don't worry about it, if she's just as dedicated as you are to her I'm sure it will work :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
