I have been on zoloft, and some others!. Out of all of the zoloft was the best/ actually the genaric is better for me then the reg zoloft because the reg killed my sex drive and I would get sore throats!. I'm on 100mg!. I've been on a lot less before and I was on 50 for a year!. At 50 it started to work the very first week!. I think the 100 has me at best!. I also just found out I have adhd!. I only saw my reg dr before!. an actual therapist was a much better match!. they are a lot more exp i guess!. after the long eval stuff (bor) i think she has a real good idea what she is doing!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Zoloft does different things for different people!. For some people, it can make the anxiety worse!. Whatever you do, PLEASE mak sure your doctor and your pharmacist are clear about possible interactions with other medications you may be taking, whether prescription or OTC!. I was taking one anti-depressant for migraines and Zoloft for anxiety attacks and depression, and the combination of the two was quite serious!. When you take Zoloft, inform your doctor IMMEDIATELY if your symptoms get any worse or if new symptoms develop!. It is very important! Other than that, Zoloft is safe, as long as it is used properly! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I took Zoloft after my mother passed away unexpectedly!. It was a very traumatic time for me since she passed away when I was 8 months pregnant with my first child so after a month or two after giving birth the doctor made me take it so I could calm down and fix my thinking!. I was a total mess and it was as if the Zoloft would tell me that everything was fine and it calmed me down!. I only took it for about 4 months and have not been on it since and that was almost 5 years ago!. I really think that it helped me, but I would double check with your doctor to make sure that it is right for you!. And if you do take it and start to have any negative effects with it, report it immediately to your doctor!. I made sure that two close co-workers were watching me to make sure that I was not acting weird so that I could get help if needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been on Zoloft for 2 years for panic disorder!. After about 7 weeks of side effects such as nausea, dizziness, increased anxiety and tremors, everything just fell into place and I have not had a panic episode ever since!. A good & caring doctor helps too - my therapist took my calls on weekends and at night when I was freaking out over the side effects and wanting to stop taking the drug!. Having a health professional explain the mental and physical symptons of anxiety and Zoloft side effects was helpful!. Of course it isn't for everyone as people react differently to different drugs but hang in there if you feel yuck for awhile!. I came good and have just given birth to my first child!. She is as chilled out as her mum!
All the best!. I hope things work out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm going to be completely honest with you!.!.!.When I was on Zoloft myself, I actually became MORE depressed, and my thoughts of suicide worsened!. I was taken off the meds immediately and started on a new one!. This was many, many years ago, however!. I know that this only happend in a very SMALL percentage of patients on it!. I guess I was just one of the unlucky ones!. I took Lexapro for awhile, and that seemed to work!. I was also on Seroquel with that for my anxiety!. I actually have the same issues you have!. You shouild talk to your doctor about possibly using that combination!. As a warning, however, you should only take the seroquel at bedtime, as it will make you EXTREMELY tired!. It helped with my insomnia, too that way!. Hope thi helps!. If you do use Zoloft, if your condition worsens, make SURE to talk to your doctor IMMEDIATELY!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have used zoloft and it is very good for depression!. You might have side effects the first couple of weeks but then the side effects ease up or go away!. You have to take the medication between four to six weeks before you notice a change but if you stick with it, it will help you!. Feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used Zoloft after I had my son!. I had a good experience, I had no bad side effects, It did take a few weeks until I noticed anything though!. But everyone is different, I know a few people that it didn't help them but other meds did!.
Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

The problem with any medication you take for depression is that it all comes down to trial and error, what works for one person may not work for another and sometimes it comes down to finding just the right does of that medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use to use Zoloft and had a negative experience!. It made me more irritable and agitated!. Had to discontinue the drug!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
