You're fine, I've been depressed to the point that I've already had a belt around my neck several times, hanging from a hook on the wall in my room!. Talking helps a lot, sometimes however I've found that getting high, lets me sort through my thoughts more effectively in my head as apposed to talking to someone, where I will always hold something back!.

Any good shrink or counselor will not make it a big deal, in fact they deal with people in your situation all day every day for YEARS, it is not a big deal at all to them!.

If you just started experiencing this, then your condition is VERY treatable, and if you take the right steps you can be out of this very soon!.

You don't sound pathetic, and reaching out to people online is something I've done lots of times and you and me are by no means the first!.

Don't just sit at home, go out, be around people!. Solitude is the fertile soil form which depression spawns!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Relax , breath slowly , You don't sound Pathetic or crazy , you sound like you need help from a Psychologist , and your Psychologists may refer you to a Psychiatrists for medications!.

you have to work on this too , Meditate , eat healthy and exercise , go a vegetarian when you're depressed , you will be less stressed !.

~Take care !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello there,
You are not pathetic or crazy, but you really do need someone to talk to don't you!? Don't build it up as such a big thing to see someone as they will be just another person too!. You never know, it could be quite a simple matter to get you feeling better!. It is a good sign that you used to be a happy person!. Just find the courage and go and get some help!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound like you have a lot of pressure and stress on your mind!. I hope you go to a counsellor, I know its a BIIIIG deal for you but thats what they do ALL DAY EVERY DAY you'd just be ANOTHER depressed person needing some guidance!.!.!. they wouldnt think twice about it except in terms of helping you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am bipolar, I have mood swings from depression to mania!. First diagnosed 20 years ago!.!.!.It is under control using medication, therapy, diet and exercise!.
From my experience:

See your General Practitioner first, tell him/her what is going on!. They can recommend treatment!.!.!.!.I may be something that they can control or they can give you a referral to a therapist!.

It is difficult for someone to pick a mental health provider out of the phone book!.

It is hard to discuss your conditions with friends or family, but try!. Sometimes it's hard for them to understand!.!.!.you don't have something they can relate to!.!.!.a cut, heart problem, cancer!.!.!.it's all in your head get over it!. How many times did I hear that from my family!. Yours may be different!.

Get help, it can get worse, and with out treatment it gets worse!.

Talking about your problem with a professional has been proven to have the most success, even more than meds!. Beleive me they have heard everything and won't think that you are stupid or crazy!.!.!.Don't label yourself that way

It may be a chemical imbalance, like bipolar and you may need medication!.

But remember, it just could be a bump in the road, a temporary proble, a little talking and it passes!. But do get help now!

Watch your diet, get some sleep (not too much) and exercise!.
That's important!.

You have taken the first, most important step!. YOU ask for HELP!

Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

well i really don't know what it's like to go from being happy to depressed because i was never happy to begin with!.!.!. but i would say just be very honest and open and goto your friends and possibly a therapist/psychiatrist!. it could be caused from added stress from your age or your current life in general!. I would suggest finding something that you can use to take yourself out of things!. i use guitar to enter that 'trance-like state'!. but you could just as easily do yoga, or some form of meditation!. or you could start smoking pot!.!.!. but that only complicated and exacerbates everything!. unless you're always high!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You aren't crazy or pathetic, you are just down a bit!. Sometimes things in life just bug us over and over again one thing after another and we eventually get bummed out!. This is ok!. It is hard to talk to a therapist but they do help!. I go to a counselor- I used to go once a week until I felt better, now I only go if I need to talk to her about anything!. They are here to help- they don't judge you or take sides- they listen and give you ideas to help you feel better!. Mine told me to take some time for myself every day- even if it is 10 minutes- do something relaxing- like a bubble bath, go for a walk, go swimming, swing on a porch swing, exercise!. I exercise almost every day and I feel much better than when I didn't at all!. Don't worry this will pass- it happens to the best of us!. Try to enjoy at least some of the day! HUGS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do not sound pathetic sweetie! I myself have been fighting depression now for 14 years!. I have been through everything, seen every doctor been on all sorts of medicines and still just cant seem to find a balance!.!.!.!. but I am a whole lot better then I was years ago!. Thank god!

But my suggestion is first go and talk to someone!.!.!. it sounds to me that is what you really need at this point!. Just try it out a couple of times and see how you feel!.

If that doesn't work then you have the choice of taking medicine to help you deal with everyday struggles and stress and then maybe talking to a therapist on top of that!.

Please do not feel stupid or weird by calling a Dr!.
Because they are there to help you, not judge you!.

The sooner you get this done with the faster you will start feeling better!.!.!.!. I promise you that!.

Best of luck to you!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start with your regular doctor!. Say exactly what you wrote in your question!. You can even print it out and tell him/her that it's hard for you to talk!.
I'm a fellow suffuerer of depression, and you could be feeling great in a week! Depression is SO common!. Are you just going through the motions!? Do you feel like you're in black hole with with no sunshine!? Do you want to laugh REAL laughs again!? YOU ARE NOT ALONE!.
There are so many excellent anti-depressants available, and your doctor will not think you're crazy!. There's too much stress in our world today!. You are NOT crazy or pathetic, and the doctor will NOT think so either!. Please make a doctor's appointment NOW!. Try to see the doctor a TODAY!. In a week you'll be laughing REAL laughs again!. I promise!.
Bless you and Good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't sound pathetic or crazy, nor would you sound that way to a psychologist! Their job is to help you, and they've seen a lot worse than you, I guarantee it!
If you want to get better, I know of no other way but therapy and/or medication!. (Preferably both)!. No one is going to think you are crazy just because you have a chemical imbalance in your brain!. And, I'm sorry to tell you, but depression IS a big deal, and you should treat it like one!
I hope you get the help you need and feel better! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
