What would happen if a fifteen year old, 103lb girl overdosed on prozac!? I'm worried about my sister!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any overdose must be taken seriously, for both it's physical effects and it's psychological complications!. Prozac is also now almost never given to 15 years olds, except under consultant psychiatrist supervision!. If she is under a psychiatrist this suggest she has significant problems already, if not, it means she has perhaps obtained the drug from other sources!. Both options have serious implications!.

I was on prozac for a while, (i'm 15 as well!.)
Depending on how much she takes, her depression might just get worse if that's what she was given the medicine for!. Thoughts of suicide increase if they are given the wrong amount of medicine!. If she takes too much, obviously she could get very physically and mentally sick and may need to go to the hospital, and in turn she could die!. But that is a far stretch!. I don't know what would happen biologically but it'd be best to bring her to the ER if there was an overdose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would take her in to er i am not sure all i know she needs to go to the hopital ,vomitting,pupils dialated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
