I think if your are really afraid of disappointing your parents you should tell them that!. Don't under rate your parents!. They may pressure you to do well and be all you can be!. They may talk of some great promising future they expect you to fulfill!. But why wouldn't they, they love you, they want the best for you and they want you to believe in yourself enough to chase it!. So speak to your parents, tell them where you are at and tell them your fears!. In doing so it is my hope they will react like a lot of other parents, they wont care if you become x, y or z!. They just want you to know they are there for you no matter what, good or bad, ups or downs, crap and dives!. At least that is how it should be!. So tell them you feel like a waste of space and let them help and support you during this time of your life where you are uncertain about what you want to do or be or achieve!.

As for disappointing yourself, make sure you set yourself the correct bench mark!. "Are you taking reasonable efforts to achieve what you can!?" Thats it, that is all you can do!.!.!. Dont place the bar too high to jump, that will just lead to burn out!. Take on one target at a time!.

I put no store in the view that everyone must know by high school what they want to do for the rest of their lives!. Short of a high concentration profession like a Doctor or Astronaut, why do just one thing!. Why not try a lot of different things!. If you find one you really like and it fits then stick with it, otherwise move on to something new!.

Lovey, you need to seek professional help!.!.!. truly!. You'll be able to see someone via Medicare - because Mental Health such as depression is a serious issue!. You should also talk to your GP!. This isn't going to go away in a hurry!. There's no magic cure!. It's going to take time!. There are assistance lines you can ring, confide in a good friend, I'm sure you've heard it before!. Talking helps, therapy and possibly medication depending on the advice of your GP!.

I want you to think about what you've achieved!. Think really hard about the years of study!. That's not nothing you know!. Plus I sense that your confusion stems from the expectations of others rather than your own!. You need to think about what you're doing and for whom!.!.!.!. and why isn't your name at the very top of that list!? It may sound selfish, but it's not!. It's self preservation!. If you can't look after yourself first, you can't look after anyone else!.

Take the first step towards being healthy, in mind and body!. Seek professional help!. There is so much pain in the world, even in my little corner of it!. Please don't add to it!. Too many people will miss you!. Remember!.!.!.!. it's all about you! Take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I know that feeling too!. So lost and yet you know where you are!. You feel like on top of the world when you are young and so energetic and now you feel like everyone has abandon you!. Right!? If I did guess correctly, then we are on the same boat=) And don't worry many people out there suffer just like you did and are now 'normal' (although there is not a single description of what exactly being normal is)!.There is too much pressure on you!. And most of them are done by your own hands!. Yesss!.!.!.!. You gave YOURSELF pressure!. You try to be a perfectionist and yet is not one!. And thus you think of yourself as a failure!. But guess what!? No one is a failure!. No one is perfect in everyway!. No one can live up to all the standards set!. Try to be a little more relaxed!. Write down all the things you LOVE about life, the things you never fufiled, the things that you cannot lose!.Think optimist!. I know it is hard, but try your best!. Start small and you might end up BIGG! Set REASONABLE expectations of yourself!. Do not push to hard!. You only have one life, you might as well treasure it! Now let me tell you my story (it is still hard for me even to recount to anyone)!. I was young and happy, I seem fulfilled in everyway and everyone kept telling me how brilliant I was, but I was not satisfied with myself!. I pushed myself to my own limit, and yet could not find any way possible to become "more" perfect!. I was depressed, and I hid it well!. Long story short, I almost was considering sucide when I broke it all out to my mom!. She helped me!. Now, I am happy with life the way it is and LOVE to help others!. But many people say I am stupid to be afraid of something so stupid!. I ignore them, I am happy and maybe my emotions were overboard then but NOW I am happy, and no one can ever take it away from me!. I hope you find it inspirational!. It is ok to fall, just rember to pick yourself up!=) And I recommend that you tell someone about it!. If you need help, email me at starzblazing@yahoo!.com! No spam or virus PLEASE! ha ha!. Ok, wish you all the best in picking yourself up! =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

All of these fears and insecurities are a normal part of life!. We all go through them!. I suggest talking to your parents!. Another thing to consider: just because you have that degree, doesn't mean you have to work in psychology forever, or even at all!. It could be a good way for you to make money to live on, and pay for an education in web design!. It also never hurts to go see a doctor!. A good physician will be able to evaluate you, and discuss his/her opinions with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a very understandable way to feel when one is graduating!. Just remember that lots of people with no work experience have eventually ended up financially stable!. Everyone starts with no experience!!

You don't need to earn big bucks in life to be financially secure - you just need to live simply and be happy with simple things!. Too often after college we start to lash out at ourselves because society and our parents and we ourselves become obsessed with achievement and success!. True success lies in the ability to be mellow and gentle with yourself, not hurting yourself emotionally, and sharing whatever happiness and wisdom you have, with the world!. I wish I had understood these things when I graduated!. Instead I embarked on a path of relentless perfectionism so that I felt like a loser no matter how well I did and what I achieved!. I also jumped around from one thing to another trying to grab at different things to assuage my sense of low self-worth!. The problem is never that we are 'worthless' or 'no good' - the problem is that we become our own worst enemies by refusing to love and respect ourselves unless we achieve all kinds of goals!.

Eith a BA in psychology and an interest in art you could always pursue Art Therapy - have you thought about this!? Think deeply about the connection between art (which you like to do) and emotional healing (the aim of psychology)!. How has art helped you!? How do you think art helps people heal!? Try and find out about Art Therapy and make slow little moves towards maybe a graduate degree in Art Therapy!? In the meantime, you could teach kids art (to gain valuable experience and put your ideas into action), or you could start writing about art and healing and submitting articles to online journals!. Use this time to explore the meaning and relevance of what you DO enjoy doing!. There is a whole lot you'll find within yourself if you let that self-critical voice go!. All the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
