I was hit on the hit pretty hard?!

Question: I was hit on the hit pretty hard!?
I was at the playground baby-sitting my younger sister(A toddler) when I saw a huge rock right in front of her!. She was looking back while she was walking so she didn't notice!. I rushed over there, got her out of the way but then I hit the playground steel pretty hard(On the top-back of my head)!. Then, as I got back up from leaning on my knees, I hit the steel once more!. Weird thing was that I didn't feel any pain other than when I hit the steel and when I got a anonymous pain that lasted about 1-2 seconds that I only felt once in a while!.

My questions are:
!.Can you be easily affected by a hit to the head or is that only when it's pretty serious!?

!.If so, then do you have to feel pain for it to affect!?

Yeah, I'm a little concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
1!. Yes, it is always risky to be hit on the head!. But your skull is naturally quite sturdy and can take most random knocks and bumps, which is what you described here!. You should be fine if this accident did not cause you any unconsciousness!.

2!. Any type of headache is caused by swelling of some sort!. If you have no pain and no other symptoms (such as blurred vision or dizziness), then you should be fine!. However, it's always a good idea after a blow to the head to have a professional's opinion!. If it makes you feel more confident, then make an appointment with your doctor and have him examine you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you got hit on the head hard enough to want to tell someone about it, you probably have a concussion!. Did you see stars!? You might want to have someone check your pupils for perrl!.!.!.make sure they're equally reactive to light!.!.!.!.if so you'll probably be ok!.!.!.!.if you have a contusion, you should get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you didn't experience unconsciousness, vomiting, bruising behind the ears, you should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, as long as you didnt get a concussion I'm sure you'll heal fine, but if your serious, get somebody's personal advice because honestly I'm not a physician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
