Why is it that the only thing people think of me is my apperance? I mean really.!
Question: Why is it that the only thing people think of me is my apperance!? I mean really!.!.!.!?
Like my grandma was at the hospital and she's not in that good of health and the only thing she had to say was, not that she loved me, but "ohh, how did you turned out so handsome"!.!.!.I went to the bathroom and pulled myself together, then went back and she just commented on my looks agian!. And then after I told someone about how I want to be in a foreign exchage program they said, "well you sure are a stunner arn't you!?"!.!.!.WTF!!!!.!.!.and there are alot of other situations, but the one that really tore me up was my grandma!.!.!.then someone said, "Well Ryan kind of looks like Zac Effron" and that just pissed me off! I mean if you do have to be good looking is that the only thing people want to know about you!!?!?!?! I know people are going to say, AHH your so concedid blah blah, well if that was the only thing people had to say to you would you like it!?! It sounds really like I want attention, but really, it's gotten rediculus when your grandma is about to die and she says that!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe she didn't know what else to say due to the awkward and uncomfortable circumstance!.
Not your grandma, however most people live a very superficial life socially!. Anything outside of the obvious is 'too deep' for the moment!. Social rules dictate that anyone interesting is suspect!. I do not mean attractively interesting!. Society tells people to fit in by not rocking the boat with 'interesting conversation or hobbies!. Superficial is safe and accepted!.
But keep searching for those who live outside this norm!. Not everybody is dazzled by the obvious!Www@Answer-Health@Com

convey something else!. as in draw attraction to something other than your face!. i get the same thing at times!. i used to get that i look (my face that is) like Elle McPherson!. i'm a shorty and nowhere near the model shape tho!.

I'm sure your Grandma just said that to take the attention off of her because she's in the hospital and things aren't so great!. She just wants to talk about somehthing else!.
But yeah, I know what you mean!. Sometimes people just focus on what they know about you or maybe your best attribute(s)!. In your case, it's your looks!. And it does suck that some skip the fact that there's more to a person than just physical appearance--- maybe some skill(s) and special talents!. I suggest that you become better at something (like spelling) so that they have something else (that is good) to notice about you! HahaWww@Answer-Health@Com
