Only you can answer this but the you need to look at the stress is it because it is fast pace or does that energize you is it because your co-workers suck or are they top notch what is the root of the stress can you live with it or fix it !.if you can't then you will need to make a decision!.If this is what you love and have a passion for then the good may outweigh the bad hang in there dude you can do this !!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are three parts of a job (from my experience) that determine if it is stressful!. I am not a chef!. The people (co-workers and management), the work tasks and the work deadlines!. You love to cook, therefore the work tasks are likely to be non-stressful, if you don't mind creating the same dish over and over, sometimes!. The deadlines are always going to be there, but it does not have to be crazy, if the operation is organized!. Therefore, the people, management and co-workers are almost the most important possible stressor!.

You won't know how stressful/crazy it is until you are actually out there, and if you can do the job, there will always be a job waiting for you, with possibly better organized management and happier, less stressed co-workers!.

I would say, go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In my humble opinion, the only person who can make that call would be you!. As an example, I spent fourteen years as a private investigator, specializing in Capital Murder Investigations at the pre-trial level and also at the Appellate level (Appeals Court)!. It was an extremely high stress job, requiring long hours and frequently 7 days a week!. In addition, I was a single parent for 17 years!. The additional strain for me was that the work I did was life changing for other people!.!.!.!.!.the defendants and their alleged victims!. The bottom line was that I woke up every day anxious to go to work and never knew from one day to the next what would transpire!. It was exhausting but extremely fulfilling!. I felt that this was an area where I might possibly be able to actuallly make some small difference in this world (ie, getting a 22 year old kid who was innocent off the charges of attempted capital murder of a peace officer and his civilian rider)!. I retired kicking and screaming because of severe health problems but in retrospect I would not have traded a day of it for anything in the world!. I have to admit tho, between my daughter and my work, I literally had no social life whatsoever!. But this being said, I have no regrets!. Just know that this is a decision only you can make, weigh the pluses and the minuses and remember, no guts, no glory!. If it's truly something you love to do, and are good at, you can rise to the challenge!. Also remember how few people in this world can make a living doing something they love!. Hope this helps you, and Bon Appetite!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey sweety thats something you really have to weigh up for yourself!.
I watch those cooking shows where they show how stressing being a chef is , and im like panting by the end of the show , cos just watching it gets me wound up lol, so i can only imagine what its like in real life , and stress is definately a big part of it all!.
However having said all that , there are so many chefs and cooks in the world and they seem to cope with it all , i think the love and passion you have for cooking will override , and help you get through the stress!.
i think you will be more stressed if you miss out on your opportunity to live out your dreams!. I say just go for it, loving what you do in life is really important if you wanna be truly happy!.
good luck with it all, and I hope you have a great time and a wonderful career!.

I hear what you are saying!. I'm a waitress and have often thought about becoming a chef cause I love to cook but I can't even begin to comprehend the stress!. It's sressful enough trying to take care of a section of a resturaunt let alone cook for the whole thing!. Here's the way I see it though!.!.!.!.if it's what you love to do you should do it cause at the end of the night once all the craziness is over you will be proud of all of the masterpieces you have created and feel a sense of accomplishment!. I know that I feel accomplished when I complete a dinner service!. I feel happy in the fact that I have given all of my customers great service!. So I say you should go for it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lets face it there is going to be stress in most all jobs and in lots of situations!. But if this is what you enjoy why let this stop you!? lots of people actually thrive under a certain amount of stress!. Its what motivates us!. Thats why certain people make good EMTs or emergency room doctors and people who work with trauma!. They simply strive and do very well under that kind of stress!. Go for it!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can do it , you will maybe get a job on a cruise ship and be ocean bound , or stay in a cave, a job is like marriage take the good with the bad, and work oout a solution folow your dream and dont loose sight of your goal !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
