Answers:
No, you're just shy!.

EDIT: I don't even think you have extreme shyness like the other person said!. It's normal (espesially at your age) to be nervous and quiet in front of groups!. You may not notice it, but probably a quarter of the other people feel the same way!.

Social anxiety is when you cannot function in front of people, and you even get physically ill (like nausea, dizziness) whenever you are put in a social situation!. Most people with social anxiety cannot hold relationships or even go to school (my cousin has it and she gets home-schooled), and people have a hard time even saying "hello"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The difference between the two is ability to function in life!.

Someone who is shy feels nervous, but can still do everyday things, like go to work or go shopping or walk down the street, whatever!.

Someone with social anxiety would have difficulty thinking everyone is looking at them in the shop, in the street etc and it would be so irrational that they couldn't hold down a job/relationships etc!. They would have such a phobia that even thinking about these things would cause them hours of anxiety, and they would have to do things like sending someone else to get the shopping for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yours is called Extreme Shyness

Shyness is an emotion that affects how a person feels and behaves around others!. Shyness can mean feeling uncomfortable, self-conscious, nervous, bashful, timid, or insecure!. People who feel shy sometimes notice physical sensations like blushing or feeling speechless, shaky, or breathless!.

Shyness is the opposite of being at ease with yourself around others!. When people feel shy, they might hesitate to say or do something because they're feeling unsure of themselves and they're not ready to be noticed!.

Be True to Yourself
We can't change our true inner nature (and who would want to!?)!. If you have a naturally shy style, or if shyness holds you back, you might have to work at developing a sense of ease around new people!.

Most people find that the more they practice socializing, the easier it gets!. Practicing social skills
