Question: Are you pro or anti psychiatry!?
Do you believe that you are really being helped by meds and therapy!? I have mental issues which makes me incapacitated without meds!. I don't know where I would be without them!. Some people believe that all can be cured with a change in diet and leave psychiatry out of the loop!. I don't think that's true maybe for some mild disorders, but for complex ones I really doubt a change in eating habits will help!. So all in all I support psychiatry and all the advances it has made in the past hundred years!. How about you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Without the medication Geodon 40 mg!.!.!. well, I just have racing thoughts that get out of control!.
The medication controls the mania beautifully-- I have previously dropped out of college twice without medication!.
Now I just have one class until I graduate!. I've been on Geodon for 3 years and it's a wonder drug for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

SSRIs are worthless for major depression!. After 10 years an antipsychotic called Aripiprazole unexpectedly helped my depression big time!. So now Im PRO!
Also years of group therapy has made me more assertive so less depressed than when I knew I was a doormat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pro-psychiatry, although I think that treatment should rely more on cognitive-behavioral therapy first and medication second!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
